Brainpower or God's power?
Exam week doesn't have to be a drag.
Sitting For An examination doesn't need to be awful. Instead it can be an opportunity to learn more about trusting God to give you all the intelligence and calmness you need.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble," the Scriptures assure us (Ps. 46:1). They also state that "God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him" (I John 4:16). Such love could not possibly include anxiety or fear.
Turning wholeheartedly to this loving God in prayer, trusting His care and guidance, drives out confusion and limitation. It opens the way for divine inspiration to uplift and direct one's thought. Restrictions that loomed large, such as lack of retention, pressure, and insufficient time, dissolve. The more we understand our God-given abilities, the more such limitations drop away. Mary Baker Eddy puts it this way in Science and Health: "A knowledge of the Science of being develops the latent abilities and possibilities of man. It extends the atmosphere of thought, giving mortals access to broader and higher realms. It raises the thinker into his native air of insight and perspicacity" (p. 128).
