YOUR LETTERS

"Your new size makes you more conspicuous and always in sight!"

I have just read the letter from Paul White, in the February 23 issue, entitled "Stand needed in homosexuality article." Frankly, I think the author of the article stood very strong—for compassion and for not being judgmental. (Of course, I am not advocating that we not be discerning; to me there is a difference between discerning error and being judgmental of others.) The stand of not judging rings with the divine Love that Christian Science reveals.

Thank you for the article "Miss, Mrs., or Ms.—a question of identity" in the March 2, 1998, Sentinel! I found it inspiring and especially useful for my classes and oral exams at university, where this question of womanhood, identity, and women's role in history comes up a lot.
