To Our Readers

Most of the people who write articles for the Sentinel are not writers by profession. About 85 percent of what you read in each week's issue is contributed by the men, women, and children who are also regular readers of and subscribers to this magazine.

Our readers are also excellent letter writers. Since the redesign of the Sentinel at the beginning of this year; we've received hundreds of articulate, enthusiastic, and inspiring letters. Most of them have cheered the new format. Some have offered suggestions on how to make things even better. A few, frankly, haven't cared for the new design.

One word that keeps coming up in most of the mail we receive is sharable. Over and over, people say that they feel impelled to share what they're reading, which says to us that these same people are quite naturally acting as sentinels themselves. Typically, they find an insightful article or a testimony of healing that they think would be of help to someone else, and they pass the magazine along to that person.
