World War II veteran healed
During the Second World War, I was a member of the Tenth Mountain Division, a ski patrol trained at high altitudes. Most of the training took place in the mountains, where we were sometimes required to be outside twenty-four hours a day. Temperatures often reached 35 degrees below zero. I was the oldest person in my division, yet I was able to keep up with the rest of the men very well, and was fully protected from harm and exposure. I served in the combat area in Italy, and although I was fully armed at all times, I am grateful to say that I did not have to use my weapon to harm anyone throughout the experience.
Today, in my ninth decade, I enjoy good health and a rich and active life.
