About a year ago, I was having difficulty hearing out of my right ear. The problem grew steadily worse until one day I also couldn't hear out of my left ear.

Hearing loss completely healed.

I had been ignoring this problem, thinking it would eventually just go away—but it did not. I then realized I had better get down to some serious study and prayer in Christian Science. I spoke with a good friend who had once had a similar problem. She referred me to two articles in an issue of the Sentinel that were helpful. And I prayed to understand more fully the definition of ears from the Glossary of Science and Health: "Not organs of the so-called corporeal senses, but spiritual understanding.

"Jesus said, referring to spiritual perception, 'Having ears, hear ye not?' (Mark viii. 18.)" (p. 585) I looked up everything pertaining to ears in the Concordances to the writings of Mary Baker Eddy. Then I started reading the Gospels through and continued praying earnestly.

I truly can't remember when the healing took place, but one day I realized I could hear perfectly, with both of my ears. The healing has been permanent.

I cannot express enough gratitude for this healing.
