Autumn thought

Gray clouds above the silent tree...
Bright shades subdued; but, soon we see
Sun's radiant beam enhance the view.
Now leaves revealed in "Autumn Show"—
Red, copper, russet—
Have golden glow.

We naturally (as with the tree),
Can stand in quiet humility,
So touched by our heavenly Father's light
That perfect Godlike hues divine—
Grace, wisdom, love—
Will from us shine.
