Downpour
It's all right to cry.
Even if the tears take you down to a place
you thought no one ever knew about,
behold the Christ is here.
You are not alone.
Behold the Christ is here,
the spirit of God,
giving a cup of cold water,
pouring you out a blessing,
filling up the vacant hope,
spilling over with
an endless, purifying love
and assurance:
"I have overcome the world."*
The Christ is here,
carrying you with the truth
that your life is flooded with
God's infinite goodness.
Be comforted now with clearer, wider vision.
You are not alone.
