God has hold of you
After weeks or months or even years of dealing with some difficulty, we may feel that we'll never get free.
But think of this: Man is God's creation, made in His likeness. God's control of man is absolute. Therefore, nothing but God can "get a hold" on man. God's man is actually held in His loving, health-giving, tender care eternally.
I suffered for many years with a painful condition in the musculature of my right upper thigh, which would periodically cramp, causing me to limp, sometimes for quite some time. As I applied the truths of Christian Science in this situation, I began to see that moving freely included leaning on God and not merely on a physical leg. This meant trusting God to answer every need throughout the day. God's support is always reliable and never lets us down.
