The "enoughness" of God
Newshour
HOW I loved all those Bible stories of courage, hope, and victory I learned in Sunday School. Stories about David and Goliath; Daniel in the lions' den; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace; Paul's shipwreck and snakebite; Christ Jesus' resurrection.
To me, the message, loud and clear, from every one of these triumphs has always been the "enoughness" of God! That no matter how hopeless difficulties seem, God—almighty and all good—is always present and enough to protect, correct, deliver those who turn trustingly to Him.
When I become an adult and began to face bigger challenges in my life, I wanted to tap in to His enoughness. So I began delving deeper into these stories I so loved, to understand how those people in the Bible did it.
