Christian Science is like a good strong thread woven through my life. Its influence and benefits have been a major factor in my experience for as long as I can remember. I am particularly grateful that my parents enrolled me in a Christian Science Sunday School at an early age. I loved the instruction I received there based on the Bible. And I gained a lasting conviction that things spiritual are real and that spiritual sense is always present, whatever the need. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Ps. 46:1).
The physical stress immediately gave way to spiritual fact, and the difficulty permanently vanished.
