Claim your day

"... for there shall be no night there."1

In my day, shall there be night (ignorance, fear)—or
illumination (love sincere)?
And in my evening, idleness—or
entertaining angels See Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health 581:4 . (peace and rest)?
There shall be light!
Day is no object of time and sense,
but Mind's infinite intelligence unfolding.
Inspiration leads in the straight and narrow way of Truth
to understanding;
And I respond, for dormancy must ne'er delay
my morning (my progress).
So, parting with night we glorify light, trusting
the promised revelation,
And awake—claim God's day as childheart does—smiling,
free and clear of "stupid rest," Mrs. Eddy, Poems, p. 14. knowing night was
but a dream of earth's restless sleep.
