I am especially grateful for something that happened to me last...
I am especially grateful for something that happened to me last summer. It helped me see clearly that my fears can be healed.
My dad and I were at Indian Lake in central Ohio, riding Wave Runners. (Wave Runners are small boats that are very fast and are usually ridden by one person. They look similar to a snowmobile. Some people call them Jet Skis.)
During the course of the day, I was extremely afraid to ride at full speed, the way my dad was riding. I tried to tell myself that I was in God's constant loving care, but for some reason that wasn't quieting my thought. Off and on I would remind myself of God's presence, but still I could not feel confident enough to go full speed.
