Christian Science helps my family and me in such very practical ways.

An early healing I recall happened when I was fourteen. On entering a dark room, I tripped and fell, landing heavily on my face on a wooden object. I remember being very fearful and calling for my mother. The injuries, especially to one eye, were very alarming.

My mother phoned a practitioner for help. She then read to me from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, and we both tried to open our thoughts to the truth taught in that book. In a very short time I was free from all pain, but I was unable to see in that eye.
