One morning last summer, in praying for Church, I considered how each church member is a healer. Healing is what makes Church grow, and there is nothing to prohibit healing, because God is all-power.
Later that day my wife phoned me at the office. The summer camp where our daughter was enrolled had called, and my wife had learned that our daughter was very ill. I volunteered to be the one to go and pick her up.
Usually in this kind of situation I would immediately call a Christian Science practitioner. I took a moment to pray and listen to God. Then I felt a strong assurance that I had the capability of praying for my daughter myself, and I saw this as an opportunity to demonstrate the value of my prayer that morning regarding Church—that the members were all healers, and that this included me!
