As a child I attended various Sunday Schools and churches to help me deal with an unsettled homelife. Eventually I joined one church, and was quite a devoted member. But my quest for a better understanding of God was unfulfilled, and I drifted away.
Some time after this, Christian Science healed my mother-in-law of cancer in its very severe stages. This introduced me to a religion where I found answers to my many questions. God has been my guide, support, Teacher, and Physician ever since.
My first healing was most significant, in that it came when I made a full commitment to trust my life solely to God. My business had moved us to a different part of the country, and we had been there only a very short time when I became very ill with pneumonia. I was on a business trip at the time, and a co-worker took me home because I was unable to make it on my own.
