Unshaken faith
The boss said, "How would you like to fly to Florida to see Cape Coral?" This sounded exciting. We were located a great distance away, and we were naturally eager to see the land we were selling.
There was only one hitch. The boss wanted to fly us to Florida in his four-passenger, single-engine airplane, and I had never flown in such a plane without getting airsick. Even on larger commercial flights I quickly became ill. I didn't want to be a slave to motion sickness pills. All the pills did was to make me drowsy so I would sleep through most of the flight. They didn't heal me.
Even so, I didn't panic. I had been studying Christian Science for about two years, and I was learning that spiritual means are far more effective than pills.
