The way that we see
Bruce Cockburn is a Canadian musician and singer who communicates a deep concern and care for the environment through the lyrics of many of his songs. And Cockburn does more than sing about the problems we confront today; he is working for change. He currently serves, for example, as Honourary Chairperson of Friends of the Earth Canada.
During a recent concert in Boston, Cockburn's band performed "Child Of The Wind." In this song, he tells of the beauty and wonder he loves in the natural world. And in the final verse, Cockburn points to the significance of not only what we view around us but how we view it:
