Prayer for this day

Use me today, dear Father!

Sing me out in strong, clear, unselfconscious tones,
joyous and eager to harmonize
with my brother—Your child.

Shine me out brightly in any direction You see fit,
reflecting Truth's steady beacon,
to dispel a shadow or illumine a path.

Blossom me out with the sweet fragrance of gratitude,
which brings forth the good fruit
of beauty, and love, and healing.
