"What I say unto you I say unto all, Watch."—Jesus
At a recent planning meeting in the Journal, Sentinel, and Herald Editorial Department, one of the editors brought out an alarming statistic that she'd seen on the evening news. It cited the mushrooming growth rate of illegitimate births in the United States, which has more than doubled over the past ten years.
Someone else made the point that we always need to be alert to current issues that desperately need our prayers, in line with the Sentinel's mission to keep "Watch." And, also, that we need to be grateful for any steps of progress that have been made evident in healing local, national, and international problems.
We're all praying about these things, and we invite you to pray along with us in seeking healing solutions for our communities and our world.
