Aurora
Tossed amid the storms of night
I cry
and pray, Let there be light!
Waiting for the Christ to come
I watch
and pray, Let there be light!
Poised upon the wing of prayer
I glimpse
Truth's promised morn
and pray there will be light!
And like the earth that turns toward dawn
I wake
to see that there is light!
The light of Truth had been there all along.
And the night is gone.
