FROM HAND TO HAND

The Sentinel is meant to be shared. In a world that is increasingly hungry for spiritual meaning, the Sentinel provides vital nourishment. Here's how one of our readers shared it. Let us know of your experience in sharing the Sentinel.

Late last year I invited my young Chinese friend, a banker, to attend church with me, and in a conversation afterward I found him to be very receptive to spiritual ideas. I gave him a six-month subscription to the Sentinel as well as a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

Recently in our state there has been a bank consolidation with layoffs, curtailment of hours, benefits, and so forth. Last week my friend again attended church with me and told me that he had been quite perturbed about the bank situation, and one evening he had picked up at random a Sentinel to read. The truths in it calmed his thought and brought lasting peace. I was grateful to learn of this proof of the Sentinel's healing mission.
