The pop quiz

Early in the year at my elementary school, my teacher gave our class a pop quiz on what was then the Soviet Union. I was very surprised and thought I wouldn't do well on it.

After I was given the paper, I immediately read through it. The front page had an empty map. On the back there were five questions. Our teacher told us to fill in the map of all the republics in the Soviet Union and to answer all the questions on the back. I knew the answer to three of the questions on the back pretty well, but I could not remember the answers to the other two.

I started to panic a little. I sat just looking at the paper for several minutes. I started filling in republics I remembered (which were few) and then answered three of the five questions on the back. People were already starting to hand in their papers. I closed my eyes and began to pray. I sat there thinking that I reflect Mind, God, as His image likeness, so how could I forget anything I needed to know?
