Angel of peace
Precious angel of peace
Come quietly to me,
Let your tender touch be known.
Don't go.
My heart waits for God,
My only God, Love divine.
His whispers of peace
Do you bring.
So gently you carry His sweet message
to me,
Softly nudging, mothering, healing:
"Rise up now, blessed child of Mine,
For in thee does My perfect likeness
shine."
Thank you, my angel friend,
Inspiration divine.
Anguish subsides with the message you
bear:
"Your Father-Mother God is nigh!"
