With all my heart I want to give thanks for the rich blessings...
With all my heart I want to give thanks for the rich blessings that Christian Science has brought my way since childhood.
When a small child, I fell ill with a kidney ailment. A pediatrician and a specialist explained to my parents that they couldn't do anything more for me. In this dark hour a friend introduced my family to Christian Science. Through the prayerful help of a Christian Science practitioner, I was healed in a short time.
Until the time that Christian Science was prohibited in our country, I attended Sunday School. The instruction I received in studying the Bible and Science and Health was indeed influential in my entire life, although it was only later that I came to appreciate the great spiritual value and the practical application and significance of Christian Science to daily life. I gratefully acknowledge the protection, the inner security, and the guidance of God, divine Love, in many situations. During my school days and my long years of professional life, I always relied on prayer in Christian Science for physical healing.
