FROM HAND TO HAND

The Sentinel is meant to be shared. In a world that is increasingly hungry for spiritual meaning, the Sentinel provides vital nourishment. Here's how one of our readers shared it. Let us know of your experience in sharing the Sentinel .

Some time ago our church membership, in relation to a building project we were engaged in, agreed to support it prayerfully by studying one of the Gospels. As I read, Jesus' demand to preach the gospel stood out like a beacon to me. I asked myself how I could fulfill this demand. As I turned to God for the answer, it came clearly to me to use our Sentinel as the missionary to do the "preaching." It was absolutely clear to me that this was a divine idea. Within a little over a month I was led to give gift subscriptions to seven people who were not Christian Scientists.

Ways are opening up all the time to give new subscriptions and to use this precious missionary. One of the recipients is a minister who delivers sermons in various churches. He told me he uses the Sentinel in preparing his sermons and often quotes Mrs. Eddy, crediting her. I am so grateful that our Leader provided us with the Sentinel, as well as our other publications.
