While she was in college, a woman we know found a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. The full significance of Christ Jesus' life came alive to her, and the book caused her to think about God in ways so fresh, so healing, that her life was never the same again. This book affected her in ways that her college textbooks never approached. As years went by she experienced healing and undeniable evidence of God's protection and care. ...
When she and her husband began a family, it was natural, then, to look to God's healing power not only for themselves but also for their children. They wanted the best for their babies, and this care had proved itself over the years. Early in their lives, the children also began to turn to God themselves and found good proof of the healing power of prayer.
The pages of this Sentinel contain other examples of people who naturally and humbly turn to God and who have discovered prayer—the kind of prayer Christ Jesus practiced —that heals.
