It was the night of my piano recital and I was getting ready
It was the night of my piano recital and I was getting ready. I had curlers in my hair, and my little cousin Emily came over and tried to touch the hot metal on the case of the curlers. I quickly pulled it away, and by accident my finger touched the metal. It hurt a lot.
I went upstairs and sat on my parents' bed with my mom, and I prayed. I knew God would not ever let me get hurt and I could not ever get hurt, because I'm God's perfect child.
At the recital I played two songs and my finger felt fine. After the recital my mom asked me how my finger was. I said I had forgotten all about it!
