BACK & FORTH
a dialogue with readers
We don't know quite how to classify this letter. It's a note of appreciation for the articles in the Sentinel. It's a letter about sharing the Sentinel with others. It tells of the naturalness of one Christian Scientist family's relation with the community. But mostly it just seems to be an outpouring of gratitude for what Christian Science has meant to a large ranching family in the American Southwest.
This letter is long overdue. For years I have enjoyed articles in the Sentinel. They ring a chord within my consciousness that often needs to be awakened or alerted.
Because our five children have been so involved with 4-H, sports, student government, we have many friends who are not Christian Scientist. In fact, some of our friends are doctors and their wives whose children pal with our kids.
