I have been a member of The Mother Church and a branch...
I have been a member of The Mother Church and a branch church for over seventeen years and have enjoyed church membership a great deal. I have learned much from my fellow church members and from serving in my branch church. From these experiences have come spiritual growth and many healings through the years. These healings have been in the areas of relationships, financial situations, work settings, and physical difficulties.
One physical healing I had took place several years ago. I began to experience severe abdominal pain in the middle of the night that left me doubled over and, more often than not, briefly unconscious.
These episodes would occur several times a year without any warning or noticeable explanation. Although I would be gripped by fear, I would diligently try to pray for myself. Afterward, though, my thoughts were rather clinical in examining the various nuances of the experience and speculating on possible causes. Also, to a certain extent, the infrequency of the attacks seemed to lull me into a state of indifference about continuing to challenge the condition through prayer.
