"So many marvelous things!"
We all love the beauty of nature. There is something we can do to preserve it.
Original in Spanish
A Song that was popular when my family and I arrived in Barcelona included the lyrics "Thank you ... for that brother, for that friend whom I found here, ... for so many marvelous things that I achieved here." These words define very well our feelings at that time, more than twenty years ago; we had trusted in divine Love's guidance in order to take that step, but the experience greatly surpassed our expectations.
You might say we made Columbus's trip of discovery, but in reverse. We sailed from the Americas to Spain, ready to start a new life. After twelve days on board a ship, we were delighted to arrive in a country where we could be understood immediately in our own language, and even to find out that our accent provoked hospitality on the part of the people with whom we talked.
