Source of inspiration
How can inspiration ever stop?
Its source is God, the fountain of all light.
It's always flowing—not drop by grudging drop—
But in a steady stream, effulgent, bright.
No blockage can occur, no cunning dam
Can be devised by any spurious power,
For inspiration comes from the I AM
Who sends it forth perpetually each hour.
God knows us, and this knowing stays inspired
Throughout eternity; there is no wax nor wane,
No lack of motivation, and no getting tired—
No forcing, no exhaustion, and no strain.
God's inspiration is inherent, steady;
It only needs we be alert and ready.
