When I first met my wife and found out that she was a Christian Scientist, I was full of questions. Every question I asked her was answered with no hesitation and to my satisfaction. When my parents were informed of our plans to be married, I was asked to have nothing to do with Christian Science and never to join that church. But I could not do that, since I could not see that the religion of my wife-to-be would pose any problems in our relationship, and I was also beginning to appreciate and to love Science myself.
After our marriage, whenever we would visit my parents, my dad would literally turn his back on my wife and ignore her. But she loved her way through this situation until the relationship became a harmonious one. Later my parents came to respect our love of our church, and my mother wrote us a letter saying how proud she was that I was dedicated to my religion.
The following is one of many healings that for me brought forth great growth in grace.
