A fresh, new cover design featuring the outline of a stained-glass window in the Original Mother Church conveys the idea of church in this new booklet of Mary Baker Eddy's seven poems. These are the poems set to music in the Christian Science Hymnal.
The type is larger and more readable than it had been in the previously published pamphlet format. "Seven Hymns" will now be the same size as the booklets of Mrs. Eddy's shorter writings.
A new preface signed by The Christian Science Board of Directors uses a quotation by Mrs. Eddy from her unpublished writings which emphasizes the importance of these hymns.
