My little lipstick
When I was about six years old, I saw the most wonderful little tube of lipstick at the store. The special part about it was that it smelled like warm butterscotch! I thought it would be wonderful to have, so I saved my allowance.
My family didn't have a lot of money and my allowance was very small. It took me a long time to save enough to buy that little tube of lipstick.
The day I bought it, I decided to take my lipstick to school for show and tell. But by the time I got back home my little tube was nowhere to be found. Not in my pockets or my room or my lunch bag.
