Do you love to work?
Have you ever found yourself trying to clean your room when all you can think about is how much you can't stand doing it? It's hard work! But how about playing soccer or baking cookies with Mom or something else you really love doing? That's easy work! You could do that for hours and not get tired of it or wish you were somewhere else. You'd do your very best and look forward to sharing those cookies with your family or playing another game next week. When you're doing something you love, it doesn't seem like work.
"But," you may say, "I don't like cleaning my room." "I can't stand math." "It's boring." "It's too hard." "How can I love it if I don't even like it?"
How can we love? Christian Science shows we can learn to love by turning to God—divine Love.
