I Wish to share a wonderful experience I had in which I grew...
I Wish to share a wonderful experience I had in which I grew in my understanding of God and my relationship to Him as our Father-Mother.
When I was a small child my mom and dad were legally separated. They were not divorced, however, since at that time divorce was not as easily obtained as it is today. Shortly after the separation my dad left, and my mother neither heard from him nor saw him again.
As I was growing up, occasionally I thought I would like to meet my dad. But my preference would have been to view him first from a distance. Then if I liked what I saw, I would introduce myself; if I didn't, I would walk away. I felt this way because I had heard so many negative things about my dad from my mother and from some members of her family.
