I used to think I was more capable of proving Christian Science in situations that did not involve physical difficulties. But I have had two valuable physical healings which have proved to me that Christian Science heals physical difficulties as effectively as it heals other kinds of situations.

At one time I found myself suffering from a painful and stiff neck. I couldn't even move my head to the right at all. This condition continued for some time. Then one day I found myself stranded because of missing a ride. It suddenly dawned on me that I could always turn to God in prayer for the right idea needed in any situation, and that God, divine Mind, would supply me with the solution to any problem. This not only resulted in helping me get home, but it also helped me see that there was a spiritual solution for the physical difficulty I was having.

Within a day or two of heartfelt praying and striving always to turn to God for direction any time a question or difficulty came up, I found my neck completely healed. This experience illustrated for me the effectiveness of obeying the following statement in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy: "... we must first turn our gaze in the right direction, and then walk that way."
