FROM HAND TO HAND
The Sentinel is meant to be shared. In a world that is increasingly hungry for spiritual meaning, the Sentinel is vital food. Here's how our readers share it. Let us know of your experience in sharing the Sentinel.
"One day a business associate called and asked if I'd have lunch with her. I quickly discovered that she didn't want to talk about business. She wanted to know if Christian Science could help her resolve a variety of personal problems. I assured her that it could. Later I ordered a subscription to the Christian Science Sentinel for her.
"Several months went by and I didn't hear from her. Then she called to thank me for the subscription. She told me that over the months during which she'd been reading those Sentinels, every single one of the problems she'd told me about had been solved. She couldn't express enough gratitude for that subscription.
"'I have to tell you something else,' she added. And then she told me that her dad called her before each of her visits to remind her to bring him the Sentinels she had finished reading. They were helping him, too."
