As a young boy I became ill, and although I was under medical care, my health progressively deteriorated over a period of years. A physician diagnosed my condition as one of having minimal natural bodily resistance to certain types of harmful bacteria and resultant infections, particularly streptococcal infections and staphylococcal infections. I was also diagnosed as being a meningitis carrier.
In an attempt to maintain my health, I was put on a regimen of antibiotic drug treatment, with the frequency and dosages increasing over time. Although my bodily resistance to the harmful bacteria didn't improve, the effectiveness of the antibiotics diminished and treatment was intensified.
My doctor, a kind and caring man as well as a highly reputable physician, was very concerned about the increasing dosages. So he alternated the usage of specific antibiotics in the hope of minimizing any potential negative bodily reaction.
