No one can say when you'll realize you're ready. But if you're seriously studying Christian Science, the time will certainly come to apply for Mother Church membership.
Many have found that uniting with The Mother Church is an important step in their spiritual progress. It has given them renewed impetus Spiritward, a greater sense of the universal scope of Christian Science. Like them, you may sense, as you read the membership application and consider the meaning of its requirements, that membership is just the support you need to stay "on course."
We welcome your application. You can get the form from any Christian Science Reading Room, branch church, or society; from someone who's already a member of The Mother Church; or from a public practitioner listed in The Christian Science Journal or The Herald of Christian Science. Or you may write directly to The First Church of Christ, Scientist; Clerk of The Mother Church, A-172; 175 Huntington Avenue; Boston, MA, U.S.A. 02115.
