"The most important prayer"
Is the importance of our prayers measured by the depth of our need? Or by what happens in our prayers?
We were waiting at the cashier's counter in the greeting card shop. The young woman's face was radiant with quiet joy as she showed me the devotional candles she had selected.
"I am making a shrine," she suddenly confided, "to thank God because He has answered the most important prayer I ever prayed." She added, sharing a precious discovery, "Prayers are answered."
I was grateful with her.
