"The power of Christian Science and divine Love is omnipotent. It is indeed adequate to unclasp the hold and to destroy disease, sin, and death" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy). I had proof of the truth of this statement many years ago when I was healed of tuberculosis in a very short time.

I had been under a doctor's care for more than a year, but my health continued to worsen. The doctor did everything he could to help me. As a last resort, his advice was that I should live in a warm, dry climate. So my husband and I moved to Arizona. After we had lived there about a year, my health hadn't improved and I became very weak. I grew more discouraged and afraid.

My brother had been healed of tuberculosis through the prayer of a Christian Science practitioner. He told me of his wonderful healing, lent me his copy of Science and Health, and encouraged me to read it. This I did.
