Including the cat
I love animals. But most of all I love cats. They are so warm, soft, and cuddly and usually love to be stroked. If you have a cat, you know what I mean.
I once had an office next to a farmhouse and a big barn. In this barn there lived a beautiful cat. Her fur was thick and tawny, and she had big amber-colored eyes. She was half-wild and very timid, as most wild creatures are.
This puss never went into the farmhouse, but she would slip into my office and sit on my knee. She knew I loved her, and because she was so timid I always stroked her very gently.
