A testimony written by my mother and published in the late...
A testimony written by my mother and published in the late thirties told of healings I experienced in Christian Science as a young girl. I am grateful to say that these have proved permanent.
Without Science, raising our four children would have been very difficult, for as an Air Force family we were often stationed in countries where it was not always possible to attend church. Therefore, I turned daily to our Father-Mother God for guidance and protection. My husband, who is not a Christian Scientist, always supported me in my reliance on this Science.
One time, one of our children had a fever. The country in which we were living had few Scientists, and a great fear gripped me. When I was able to get in touch with a Christian Science practitioner, he calmed my fear and helped me see that God cares for His children no matter where they are. The fever left, and our child's recovery was swift.
