FROM HAND TO HAND
The Sentinel is meant to be shared. In a world that is increasingly hungry for spiritual meaning, the Sentinel is vital food. Here's how our readers share it. Let us know of your experience in sharing the Sentinel.
"I was flying down to Washington, D.C., and the young woman sitting next to me had her head buried in a book about Taoism. I was reading the current Christian Science Sentinel. After a while we began to talk, and I shared my Sentinel with her. She read the article 'What joy!' and after a thoughtful look at the other articles she asked, 'Is this what Christianity is?' I told her it was and explained something of Christian Science. She said, 'There's a Christian Science Reading Room near where I live. I'm going to buy this Sentinel.'
"Later I phoned her and we had lunch together. She said she had been going to the Reading Room every day to purchase The Christian Science Monitor."
