FROM HAND TO HAND
The Sentinel is meant to be shared. In a world that is increasingly hungry for spiritual meaning, the Sentinel is vital food. Here's how our readers share it. Let us know of your experience in sharing the Sentinel .
"As a Christian Science chaplain, I was leaving the prison one day in a bit of a hurry to get to an appointment. A man stopped me and said he wanted to 'talk about the Bible.' I told him I'd be happy to come by on my next visit, and I offered him a copy of the Sentinel through the cell bars.
"Two weeks later when I visited him, his first words, spoken with a big smile on his face, were 'That little book really helped me to know the Bible better.'"
