Limitless, not limited
People may be confronted by all sorts of limitations: not enough time, not enough health, not enough money. Yet through prayer we can find freedom.
Limitation seems so prevalent in our society that we may need to deal with it in many areas of our lives—from concern about having enough food, clothing, or shelter to feeling a lack of education or opportunity for suitable and rewarding employment.
The commonly accepted view of existence tells us that man is a mortal, subject to a life of limitation and with little hope of changing this expectation. We can be comforted in knowing that there is an alternative to this bleak view. In fact, we can prove that man is now and will always be totally spiritual. Understanding this will help us overcome limitation.
The Bible states, "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." Gen. 1:31. This is as true today as it was "in the beginning" and will always remain true. Through prayer we can prove that we do not have to experience lack or limitation at any time. The basis for this proof is a deeper grasp of man's relationship to God.
