My greatest benefit from the study of Christian Science is the spiritual growth that I have received over the years. This growth has been accompanied by numerous physical healings, including those of hay fever, kidney stones, and influenza. However, the one that stands out from all of the others is the one that gave me a more vivid spiritual insight.
One Saturday, after I had chemically removed paint from my car, I became aware that there was something wrong with my hand. I did not know what was wrong, but I felt that something was not right.
I called a Christian Science practitioner and asked him to assist me through prayer. Christian Science teaches that divine Mind is the only Mind and we can completely trust in that Mind to guide us. Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy states (p. 84): "All we correctly know of Spirit comes from God, divine Principle, and is learned through Christ and Christian Science."
