We read in II Corinthians (9:15), "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift." To me, Christian Science is this unspeakable gift, and I am so grateful for having found it.
For some time before I found Science I was gradually becoming disillusioned and confused about God, myself, and life in general.
I prayed daily for God to guide me in the right direction. One morning I woke very early and somehow sensed that this was going to be a special day. Later on, as a result of my prayer, I felt led to go downtown and to visit a Christian Science Reading Room. I said to the librarian, "I'm not sure why I'm here." I had visited a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, and gone to a few Christian Science lectures with neighbor, but I didn't feel before that I needed Christian Science.
