More and more, society is breaking the barriers of age discrimination. But isn't it about time we also started breaking some of the barriers of aging as well? Aren't we ready to find the timeless freshness of God's man?
Spiritual journeys—whether they begin with faltering first steps or with a mature forward stride—lead to new strength and vision. They also lead to healing, as this author found.
Does Jesus' command to love our neighbor as ourselves include noisy neighbors?
Have
you ever been incensed with the viewpoint expressed by a government official or a political candidate?
Someone we can love, who'll love us, who won't desert us— first and foremost, that description refers to God, divine Love.
If we're looking for the cause of something, maybe we need first to see if it has a cause in God, in good, the source of all that is real.
If aging and its effects are natural, there's no way to resist them. But if time and age are not as inexorable as they appear, we can expect to see beyond them to our nature as God's unending expression.
Prayer, however simple, helps us to open our hearts to God's love, and we begin to feel His closeness.

the late 1950s I was diagnosed as having rheumatic fever and was hospitalized for weeks.
I first heard of Christian Science several years ago, through some Christian Science literature given to me by the mother of the young man our teen-age daughter was dating at the time.
Christian Science was presented to me as a schoolgirl by my aunt, and I saw from the first its healing power when she was healed of severe rheumatism.
I have been a sincere student of the teachings of Christian Science since 1948.
In 1981 I developed severe physical difficulties.
